In the many visits to Feet to the Fire, Lional had discussed the assertions of his book, The Holy Virus (click for past shows in archives) which states the Hebrew scriptures were edited and infiltrated with the Babylonian sacrificial religious rites while the Jews were slaughtered and the small remainder held in slavery ~586 B.C. and the New Testament was edited and revised to be more in-line with the Pharisitical Animal Sacrifices and Roman Law in 325 A.D.

In his book, Lional also included a little know Gospel, said to be composed by the Twelve Disciples of Jesus and lost to antiquity. This book was possibly refereed to by some of the early Church Fathers, but has disappeared.

Then "an Irish clergyman, Rev. G. J. Ouseley claims to have discovered the Original Gospel from which the present Four Gospels were derived, which, he says, was "preserved in one of the Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, where it was hidden by some of the Essene Community for safety from the hands of the corrupters, and is now for the first time translated from the Aramaic." It is Lional's belief that this was the true Gospel as taught by Jesus and recorded by His Twelve Disciples.

From a Biblical Scholar's perspective, the evidence is weak to none-exsistant that this work by Rev Ouseley is genuine using the methods and proves used in standard textual criticism.

For example, it is said to be translated from Aramaic, yet, there are no Aramaic Manuscripts to test the English translation. Also, Rev. Ouselry is not an Aramaic scholar, often getting help in "dreams and visions at night" to translate.

Compounding things is the direct contradiction to long held doctrines said to be derived from the standard Bible, and adding much more.

However, Lional, with his professional experience as a Document Verifier uses tools to see internal flow and consistence to determine if a copied document has been edited without having the original document .

Tonight, James and Lionel will discuss the validity of The Gospel of the Holy Twelve as being perhaps the most true account of the life and teachings of Jesus, from those closet to him.
